Local Author Tells a Tale of Adventure with Dogs

If youโ€™re on this website, itโ€™s probably because youโ€™re a dog lover, and iโ€™d wager youโ€™re probably from Sheffield, or at least the surrounding areas. Iโ€™ve loved creating this website and building a little community of Sheffield dog owners, there are a lot of pampered, dedicated and loyal pooches in the city, so when I heard that Sheffield-based author Helen Mort had decided to look into peopleโ€™s love of adventure with their dog, itโ€™s something that I simply had to share.

Helen Mort is an award-winning author and poet and in her latest book โ€˜Never Leave the Dog Behindโ€™, spurred on by her time with her own rescue Whippet, Helen takes a closer look at our love of dogs and especially heading out into the hills with them. The book is both personal memoir, also features the tales of climbers and search and rescue dog handlers among others alongside a varied cast of dogs to fall in love with, so thereโ€™s something for all dog lovers to enjoy.
