British Pie Week in Sheffield

1st – 7th March is British Pie Week, and thankfully it’s coincided with the inevitable return of the cold weather (not that we ever need an excuse to eat a pie). There’s nothing quite like a good pie with gravy and a splash of Hendos, so we thought we’d pick out some dog friendly businesses in Sheffield where you can get your pie fix during British Pie Week.

Current coronavirus restrictions obviously mean that these are available via delivery or collection only, but it’ll be worth it – promise!

The Broadfield

It’s impossible to create a list of where to get a pie in Sheffield and not mention The Broadfield. One of Sheff’s fave dog friendly pubs has been serving up fantastic pies for years. Their Broadfield at home service means that you can get those hearty pie meals in the comfort of your own home.

If you’ve never been to the Broadfield before, you’ll find them on Abbeydale Road

The Nottingham House

Notty House has recently come back online offering up their tasty homemade pies for takeaway. Their pies are somewhat legendary, and they’ve always got a wide selection to choose from, so there will be something for even the pickiest pie chooser. You can order hot with chips or mash and peas, or order cold and individual if you’d rather cook it at home.

You’ll find the Nottingham House in Broomhill

The Norfolk Arms

The Norfolk Arms out on Ringinglow Road is currently offering up a selection of cook at home pies, meaning you can have a pub night in at home with some good pub grub to go along with your drink. Give them a call to find out what is available on the day you want to order.

Pieminister

Pieminister is Sheffield’s premier dog friendly pie restaurant on division street. Their food is currently available via Uber Eats and/or Deliveroo. Famed for their Sunday best and Mothership offerings, their pies are available everywhere including supermarkets. During non-covid times you can also dig into a Pieminister pie at the Masons in Crookes, and the Crown in Heeley.
